Day 1 - Arrival at Srinagar Airport / Station- Local Sightseeing Our Kashmir tour package starts once you reach Srinagar Airport. On arrival greet and meet Perfect Planners tour and travels representative and head towards Srinagar Famous spots. The rest of the time is free at leisure. Srinagar is a major city in India. Then Proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankaracharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens - Cheshmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar, Hazratbal Shrine. These gardens were Mughal Emperors' concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots. Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Handcrafted items Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening leisurely stroll alongside Dal Lake exploring the local markets. In the evening go for a Shikara ride at Nehru Park. Once done, Check in the hotel. After breakfast head towards Gulmarg (8700 ft i.e 2652 mts), known as ‘Meadow of flowers. Go for the famous Gondola Ride.
Apharwat Peak Gondola Ride: Phase 1
As we embark on the Gondola journey, a sense of exhilaration fills the air. The doors close, and we begin our ascent to Kongdoori Station, situated at an altitude of 10,065 feet (3,068 meters), the inaugural phase of our odyssey. The Gondola glides effortlessly, elevating us above the verdant meadows and towering trees, offering a bird's-eye perspective of the valley below. We soar above the snow-encrusted peaks, experiencing the thrill of weightlessness as the landscape unfolds like a canvas of pristine white and emerald green. The solar illumination casts a golden glow on the snow, accentuating the majestic beauty of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Kongdoori Station, the doors open to reveal a breathtaking panorama of the snow-capped peaks, leaving us awestruck.
Apharwat Peak Gondola Ride: Phase 2
From Kongdoori Station, we board the second phase of our Gondola journey, ascending to the pinnacle of Apharwat Peak, situated at an altitude of 13,780 feet (4,200 meters). The ride becomes even more electrifying as we climb higher, the air growing thinner and the snow growing deeper. The Gondola traverses the rugged terrain with ease, offering a glimpse into the majestic grandeur of the Himalayas. We reach the summit, and the doors open to reveal a sight that defies description – the resplendent Himalayas stretching out in every direction, with the Nanda Devi and Harmukh peaks shining like diamonds against the cerulean sky. The sense of accomplishment and wonder is overwhelming, making this Gondola ride an unforgettable experience that etches itself in our memory forever and then proceed towards Gulmarg Sightseeing tour (Self Expenses) where you go places like Maharaja Palace, Rani Temple, St. Mary Church,Buta Pathri and head towards Drung Waterfall cascades down a rocky cliff, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Located about 4 km from Tangmarg Gulmarg, this breathtaking waterfall is a sight to behold, especially during the spring and summer months when the snow melts and the water flows in abundance. The roar of the waterfall grows louder as you approach, and the misty veil that surrounds it creates a mystical atmosphere. The Drung Waterfall is a perfect spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts to capture the beauty of the Himalayas Once done you will be back Srinagar. Check in the hotel. After breakfast, get transfer to Sonamarg which is the most beautiful drive. On the way you stop at many beautiful spots. Continue to drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier and can also go Zojila Pass & Zero Point via local transport.
Tajiwas Glacier: An exciting location for trek lovers, Thajwas Glacier situated just 3km away from Sonmarg is one of the most thrilling and striking experiences one can witness. The crown of Jammu and Kashmir, this glacier is famous for its exciting activities like sledding, hiking, and pony rides and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh.
Zoji-La Pass: Traveling through Zoji-La Pass is an adventurous and exhilarating experience, offering picturesque views of the snow-capped mountains and rugged terrain.
Zero Point: A picturesque winter spot, zero point, especially for one who is fond of snowy terrains should experience the views at Zero point. It is situated at 15,300m above sea level and it is close to the India-China border. The magnificent zero point is the confluence of the three rivers, making it a breathtaking valley for travelers, surrounded by snow-capped mountains in the clouds, and its maple tree vegetation.
After fully enjoying at Sonamarg. then you will be back to Srinagar. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel Barzam Resorts/ Petals of Chinar Srinagar.
After breakfast transfer to Doodhpathri. For day excursion. Doodhpathri is a beautiful lush green meadow surrounded by a dense forest, snow-capped mountains the Shaliganga river flowing down on its other end. It lies in a bowl-shaped alpine valley surrounded by snow-clad mountains and meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. It sits at an altitude of 2,730 meters (8,957 ft) above sea level. After fully enjoying the Doodhpathri then you will be back to Srinagar. Check in the houseboat. Dinner & overnight stay Duluxe Houseboat Dal Lake Srinagar.
After breakfast check out from Dal Lake houseboat and proceed towards pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place in the Indian Film Industry.On the way visit Awantipura ruins, Saffron fields One of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Paalgam offers breathtaking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam and trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. One can trek to Lidderwat, Kolahoi Glacier or to Sonmarg. As well as a Horseriding trip to Baisaran (Self Expences). Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus.
Aru Valley: Aru is located around 12 from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder river.
Betaab Valley: is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam.Betab valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route Amarnath Yatra. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains.
Chandanwari: Chandanwari is situated 16-km from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. Once done Check in the hotel in pahalgam. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel Lidder View Resort / Shehjar Villa Pahalgam.
